What is SolarCommission.Org?
Powering Better Decisions
SolarCommission.org reflects both our mission and our expertise. “Commission” can mean a group entrusted with a purpose, and while we are not a government body, we are local citizens helping consumers make informed solar decisions. In the solar industry, “commissioning” also refers to verifying that a PV system is properly designed, installed, tested, and maintained. Our name brings both meanings together: we guide homeowners through the full solar journey, from research and installation to long-term system ownership.

Founder, SolarCommission.Org
Max is a veteran of the Indiana solar industry with deep, hands-on experience in all aspects of the solar process. His work spans from small residential systems to large commercial systems for churches, nonprofits, and a variety of commercial sectors such as multifamily housing, medical facilities, retail centers, and more.
Max has recognized the growing challenges solar customers face in navigating the complexities of the solar industry, especially amid misleading sales tactics and the rapidly evolving installer market. This has lead to the creation of SolarCommission.Org
